Per the original Tern, its second iteration is just as awesome as Accurate's original design, but with a slew of improvements. The reel is now much smoother, mostly thanks to a newly designed main gear-bearing support system. In addition the series has each reel equipped with an internal cast control system, which many describe as excellent! The Tern 2 is constructed of aluminum, and of course Accurate's CVX technology to reduce weight. It features stainless steel gears, six ABEC 5 ball bearings and a TwinDrag system that delivers incredible stopping power. Moreover, each reel in the series is outfitted with a great aluminum power arm with rubber football knob or upgraded metal knob. Truly a reel for those fisherman that love the sport and have a special relationship with the water. By far, upgrades make this one of the best star drag series reels.
